The lid helps seal the cup for the prevention of splashing and spills, and is made of clear flexible PETE (polyethylene terephthalate) for visibility of the cup’s contents and resistance to shattering. The lid’s dome provides space for whipped cream and other toppings. The straw hole on the top of the dome facilitates drinking cold beverages through a straw (not included) while the lid is on the cup. This lid can be recycled at facilities that accept containers with food residue and the resin identification code number “1.” It comes in 20 sleeves of 50 lids.
